My name is Benjamin. I come from the UK (although I was born in New Zealand) and I have been described as having a ginger personality. Whatever that means. I assume they're referring to my hair and my Ronald Weasley nature. Aside from that, I'm the only male blogger worth knowing.

You can thank Amber for that lovely introduction, but you deserve much more than just a small paragraph showing my nutty nature, therefore if you do wish to find out more, please visit the

Samsung D840

Well because of my absense from posting on Winged-Hope.com, I forgot to say that after failing my driving test, my phone broke the next day.
As per usual, I took it down to Vodafone and asked for it to be fixed. I waited a week using a courtesy phone to be able to get on with my business, but then on Friday I went back down to collect my phone.
Unfortunately, they could not fix my phone because there was “moisture in the wiring”. They could not replace my phone because I had no insurance, nor could they offer me an upgrade because my contract was not due one for another 12 months.

Luckily, my loving mother was kind enough to let me have her upgrade. Therefore, today I got a new phone. The Samsung D840. It is a very slim and slick phone. My only problem is that I am not used to the buttons, but that should pass soon. Even though the phone only has a 2.0 megapixel camera, where my old phone had a 3.2 megapixel camera, the quality is still really good for what I usually use the camera for. So no biggy there!

On a side note, I have decided to not password protect my spiritual posts like I was planning to. Like a care what people think of me. o.o

That’s definitely a nice phone to have. I’ve got the D807 through Cingular. I believe it’s only 1.3MP for the camera, which is quite balls but I don’t use it that much anyway, so I wasn’t too perturbed. The only problem I have with the phone is the button style. It’s very hard for typing since they’re not indented, but all kind of flow together.

It’s handled some scuffs quite well, since I’ve got it in June. Otherwise it’s been my little gadget love since then =)

I agree with you on the button style issue. It is taking some getting to used to. My thumb seems to slide across the buttons and therefore leaving a trail of letters behind with it.

I am really pleased with this phone, and also I love the feature of being able to password protect my messages. Therefore no-one looking at my phone, will automatically go into my Inbox and read my text messages. 0.o
