Solipsus

It’s been 6 weeks since I passed my driving test, but still have had no car to drive around in! It is driving me insane. I have been trying non-stop to get a job.

For the people who do not know, I did have a car for when I passed my test, but unfortunately the day of my first driving test (which I failed, as I usually do when I try things first time), my dad was hit by a joy-rider and wrote off my brand new Citroen C2. ;(
Luckily, the money from the write-off will help pay for a few months of payments on a new car.

Today, I have been phoning garages left, right and centre to find out what finance options they have to offer on a Chevrolet Matiz, its a nice design and has everything I would want. After 2 hours of phoning, I found that not too far away, I found a garage which had a show-room car which was a year old and had CD player/Air Con which I felt were important features to have. :P
It is cheap, and looks promising. So if my dad finds the time on Monday, he will go have a look at it, and possible try and get any closer on buying me a car. If not, it will be next weekend, as we are all busy for the rest of the week.

6 weeks without driving a car. Wow, I am going to have trouble getting behind the wheel of a car when I get one. Let’s hope for no more crashes!
