Geek, News flash

Thankyou Apple

I was reading through my archives today, when I decided to check up on a thread which I linked in my previous post about my Mac problems. Reading some of the new posts, I discovered that on May 1st Apple brought out an update for my Airport card!

Finally, after 2 months of not being able to use my Mac for the internet, having to mess about with my iTunes, and Mail, my internet now works. :D
I have now moved one step closer to being able to delete my Windows partition, all that is left to do is to purchase Photoshop CS3 for Mac, therefore not needing my Photoshop CS for Windows and find something for Microsoft Publisher (my Graphic Products coursework is done mostly in this because it is what we use at school), any suggestions?

You’ll have to correct me on this if I’m wrong because I’m not for positive but yeah.
From what I hear, in microsoft office 07, microsoft publisher is virtually obsolete because of all the new functions of word. (Columns, and whatnot). So with that, I just suggest you wait till office 07 comes out for Mac (unless its out already… last I’d heard from my mac friend it wasn’t.) And its just nice, too. I love the new word, though it certainly isn’t publisher and if you NEED it to be publisher things could get sticky… hm. Also, my mom hates publisher and uses a program from broderbund called print shop prop (print, not paint). It’s quite nice, though its text editing ISN’T word, but thats ok… its more flexible than publisher.
