My name is Benjamin. I come from the UK (although I was born in New Zealand) and I have been described as having a ginger personality. Whatever that means. I assume they're referring to my hair and my Ronald Weasley nature. Aside from that, I'm the only male blogger worth knowing.

You can thank Amber for that lovely introduction, but you deserve much more than just a small paragraph showing my nutty nature, therefore if you do wish to find out more, please visit the

Indulgences

This weekend has been a mixed one I must say. Ranging from new items (more about that later on) and my sudden panic to get revision galore done for all my exams next week. I am not so worried about my Graphic Products, because most of it has been drilled into my brain from GCSE and common sense when it comes to designing, but I have yet to learn my Drama essay structures and revisit all my maths topics. Maths is the exam which I am most worried about, I already got a D in the first module back in January, and I don’t want to let myself down again. Let’s hope I do well and can focus myself - for that reason I have decided to go to school everyday this week even if I don’t have an exam just because I know it will be empty in the common room due to study leave, and that I can be focused.

Citroen C2Yesterday was such a good day. I finally, after 3 months of patiently waiting, got a new car! It is a couple of years old, and a bit older than the one which I had before (it got written off before I passed my driving test), but I do not mind at all. It is in great condition, and I love the freedom I am getting from it.

After not having driven a car in 3 months, I quickly got behind the seat and shook as I knew I was about to get on a motorway for the first time ever! It was so invigorating, the thrill of the speed and it was such a good booster for me in confidence as I waas worried I had forgotten how to drive. It really did show me that when people say, “You can never forget to drive, it is like riding a bike. You just never forget., it is actually true! :woot:

To celebrate my new car, I decided to visit Windsor with a friend. It was a quick, but fun drive (in the sense that I stalled 4 times ;/ ). We did a bit of shopping where I got some sunglasses for my driving, and then we gerabbed an icecream to then walk down the riverside. It was so blissful and the weather was gorgeous.

As for other indulgences, I finally caved in and ordered 2 shirts from threadless.com, seeing as their is a summer sale which ends in the next couple of days and Tracy has bought a few with good reviews! There were a couple of other t-shirts that I liked (I say a few, when I mean 8 others), but they were out of stock. Therefore they are bookmarked and I will enetually buy them all. <33
I also ordered some other clothes, and a pair of Crocs. Yes, I joined the “fad” and bought some, but the nice kind. They just look like normal flip-flops, but soo comfy!

Time to get back to revising…..

Whoa. Normally people don’t spend more than £1000 on their first car because of the likelihood that it’ll get squashed to a pancake. Nice!

Ha! I learnt to drive over the course of 3 years with lessons placed here and there whenever I had time over uni (generally every 3 months or so). After I passed my test, I didn’t drive for ages and ages, then I did a 20 mile trip. It’s true, you never forget, but don’t forget that road laws and rules change every 5 minutes so you might not be able to drive as far as the police are concerned ;)

Btw, you need to fix this comment box… It’s way too big for my 1024×768 res :(
