My name is Benjamin. I come from the UK (although I was born in New Zealand) and I have been described as having a ginger personality. Whatever that means. I assume they're referring to my hair and my Ronald Weasley nature. Aside from that, I'm the only male blogger worth knowing.

You can thank Amber for that lovely introduction, but you deserve much more than just a small paragraph showing my nutty nature, therefore if you do wish to find out more, please visit the

Due an update

Well since Amber has been hassling me on MSN that I haven’t updated in ages, I think it is due an update and what better way to update than a new theme and fresh look for Solipsus? This has to got to be the 3rd layout which I have tried to release since my previous one, but everyone seems to be highly prejudiced towards it so I didn’t want to part with it - but I think it is time to leave that chocolate forest behind for this new blue simplistic design. So what are your opinions?

My lack of updates can only be excused by the fact I had all my AS examinations this week and all I can really say is that I know I am going to have to resit some of the papers next year. It isn’t like I was not prepared for the exams, I just don’t think I was prepared enough. I think you know your screwed when you open a Graphic Products exam paper and find the first question is asking you to draw the polymer chain of a thermo-setting plastic. :wtf:

Next year is my last chance and I am determined to work my socks off for the results I want (hopefully ABB or AAB), but that is wishful thinking. No wasting time on online RPG’s such as Tibia, it is safe to say that I won’t seeing as I have not played since the 1st of April. No leaving revision until 2 weeks before the exam, it doesn’t really get you very far. No loosing concentration during my drama coursework performance, it looses you roughly 10 marks. No thinking everything will get done. And most importantly, use my teachers!

Time for a wake up call I think. x.x

It’s a nice theme, but the text is too similar in colour to the background. I’m having a lot of difficulty reading it… It might be better to make it black so that it contrasts more :)

Oh, and my site is Not-Noticeably, not Not-Noticeable :P

Thanks for the tips Amelie, I changed the font to black - is that better?

Oh, and sorry for the spelling mistake - I suppose when I wrote it I find noticable comes into my mind first and that is what I type. But it is fixed now. :)

I really like this layout. :D

Maybe lighten the “reflection” text in the header a shade or two so it doesn’t take too much attention away from the actual text?

Oh, and change the style font in this textbox to match the other input fields. :P

Otherwise, I very very much like it!

More line-height please! Change:
font: 9pt Verdana, sans-serif;

to:
font: 11px/17px Verdana, sans-serif;

(I’ve put px in because pt is a print measurement :P)
