My name is Benjamin. I come from the UK (although I was born in New Zealand) and I have been described as having a ginger personality. Whatever that means. I assume they're referring to my hair and my Ronald Weasley nature. Aside from that, I'm the only male blogger worth knowing.

You can thank Amber for that lovely introduction, but you deserve much more than just a small paragraph showing my nutty nature, therefore if you do wish to find out more, please visit the

Your Questions Answered.

I thought after 3 days of non-stop working for school, it is about time to answer all your lovely questions, so here we go.

When did you realise you’re gay? Or have you always known? - Amber

Well, throughout my early years of secondary school, I was bullied and told I was gay; so when I started to have feelings for certain males in my school, I was adamant that I wasn’t gay. It wasn’t until Year 11, which I must of been 15 years old, before I realised that I was gay - through the help of a friend, and not in that way either (~points at Amanda!~). Have I always known? I don’t think so, but I suppose it has been quite a while.

Do you play many games (computer or console)? If so, what are your favourites? - Belinda

As I said on my author page, I get very addicted an MMPORG called Tibia, when I actually log on - mainly because of the friendly community on there and the wars which happen between people, other than that I don’t really play much games. I do delight in playing console games such as TimeSplitters on the PS2. My all-time favourite would have to be Mario Kart on the Nintendo 64, and the battle games! I love it, and cannot wait for it to be released on the Wii.

As a child, what did you want to be when you were older? - Kaylee

As a child, I was heavily routed in my singing, dancing and acting; so I wanted to be a professional actor/dancer/singer on a west end stage. Of course, I still like to do all of these things, but don’t quite think I am cut out for the big stage with my dodgy joints and crap voice!

Whatever happened to that dude friend of yours? The bf of a friend? - Amanda

Well, we still talk a lot, and we still joke around about getting together, but he is off to Oxford University soon, so I don’t think we shall be seeing a lot of each other before then - I am planning on seeing him at least once though, I hope ;)

Do you like being ginger?
Where do you see yourself in 20 years? - Lene

Of course I love being ginger! I used to get a lot of shit for it, but now I just talk shit back and they don’t bother again. It is just another thing, which I like to think, which makes me more unique. Also, however sad it may seem, it makes me feel closer to my grandad.

I see myself living a happy life with a great partner and working for a design company. Well, that is my dream anyway.

Most gay guys can still appreciate an attractive woman when they see one. So, which female celebrities do you find attractive? - Rachael

It is funny you ask that, because my friends and I were having the same discussion on Tuesday evening at her birthday party. Female celebrities which I find most attractive… Jessica Alba has a good body, and Jennifer Anniston, but I think that is more for her great personality and some-what good looks.

When did you find the right time to tell friends and family?
How did your parents react?
You said you started a job finally at tescos, do you have any crushes yet? - Phillip

My friends were the first to know, and they took it extremely well. Most of them said ‘Oh, I knew it already’, ‘Finally!’ So it was quite good to hear. I wasn’t really scared about telling my friends, because they are my friends at the end of the day, and always will. My family is another story.

My parents found out after looking at my computer and finding messages between me and a good friend - who I was telling I was gay. The thought I was being led on by my friends, and did not really believe me, so that hurt. We never talk about it anymore, and I don’t think we will - It is just something we will have to live with. The rest of my family do not know, as far as I know, I think it will have to be something we discuss when the right time comes, but at the age of 17, I don’t think it is the right time.

Unfortunately, no. Every one there, as lovely as they seem, don’t seem right for me and there is also the fact that there is no fit people there. :(

Side note: If you need someone to talk to about being gay or anything of the sort, feel free to contact me.

What interests you most about webdesign? - Sarai

I think it is the experimenting part of web design really gets me going, and the ability to be unique with your designs. There is always something different to try - structure, wording, colour scheme, art-work!

That was very interesting - must remind myself to do one of these “ask me a question” things :P
I’ve never really understood why some people are uneasy discussing the subject of being gay. Especially family members and the like. It makes me sad to think there are things you just can’t talk about with some people.

I was going to ask whether you had ever been unfairly judged for being gay, but I figured you could use one less question about your sexuality. :P

All I have to say is: IF YOU DESERT ME FOR TEAM ANISTON I WILL SKIN YOU ALIVE AND PLAY JUMPROPE WITH YOUR INTESTINES.
