My name is Ben~~jamin~~. I come from the UK (although I was born in New Zealand) and I have been described as having a ginger personality. Whatever that means. I assume they're referring to my hair and my Ronald Weasley nature. Aside from that, I'm the only male blogger worth knowing.

Time to think

Solipsus has suffered from quite a lot of downtime over the last few days due to a ‘deface’ of all the index* files on my host’s server. Though you may think of that as a bad thing, it actually gave me a lot of time to think! (Shock horror, I know! :P)

Without my site, I actually felt lost, and I couldn’t quite understand why. It isn’t like I blog daily? You are lucky if you get more than one blog a week (which I am looking to improve upon), so why did I feel so lost? I think it was because though you may not see daily changes to my site, I am always behind the scenes fixing errors, making the site better, working on themes and plugins. Without my site, I was unable to do any of that. It was something which I wouldn’t want to go through again.

Now that everything is back up, I have been making changes to my fanlistings, fixing all the index pages, and re-wrote my author page! I also have quite a few ideas for article-type blogs, but if I get them done is another story. I am not great at writing articles, and half-way through I delete them out of boredom and thinking they sound shit, which they generally do.
