My name is Benjamin. I come from the UK (although I was born in New Zealand) and I have been described as having a ginger personality. Whatever that means. I assume they're referring to my hair and my Ronald Weasley nature. Aside from that, I'm the only male blogger worth knowing.

You can thank Amber for that lovely introduction, but you deserve much more than just a small paragraph showing my nutty nature, therefore if you do wish to find out more, please visit the

Not sure what to do with myself.

Amongst the writer’s strike, finishing of series 12 episodes short of the previous (Grr at Heroes Season 2!), I do not know what to do with myself.

I had a routine. I had a wonderful routine. A wonderful routine which I was very happy with. Tuesday after school I would download the latest episode of Heroes, but of course I am unable to do that seeing as Series 2 has finished in America, and as said above, 12 episodes shorter than what Season 1 was. How ridiculous! You would expect the series to be consistent with the amount of episodes that it contains bar 1 or 2 episodes, but over half? You can tell I am not a very happy bunny.

Anyway. Back to my routine! On Friday before going to work I would download the latest episode of Grey’s Anatomy, then watch after work. But of course, for some reason (which I think may be because of the writer’s strike), the latest episode was not aired. On Saturday, I would then finish off my week by downloading the latest episode of Ugly Betty. Yet today, I found I was unable to do any of that because it was not aired, much like Grey’s Anatomy.

These 3 shows are vital to my weekly routine, and I just seem to have all this spare time floating about which I do not know what to do with. I really want them back and have actually found myself on the verge of tears. Of course, I could be using that time to revise for my January exams, but of course I won’t :)

God, I’m annoyed as well. TV is just made of phail. This is how it used to be:

Monday — nothing save for Newsnight. (Tick - stays the same.)
Tuesday — season two of Heroes. (Cross — goddammit.)
Wednesday — season one of Heroes. (Cross — c’est finis.)
Thursday — Question Time. (Cross — finished until New Year.)
Friday — Jonathan Ross. (Tick for next week, then cross for God knows how long.)
Ugly Betty - NER ER.
Saturday — X Factor & SCD. (Cross — ils sont finis aussi.)

What am I TO DO?!

Yeah, when all of the shows ended here they called it the “Fall Season Finale.” So, they’re probably hoping that the strike will wrap up after Christmas. Sweeps is in February and is very important for networks, so I would be surprised if they didn’t come to a deal before then.

Urgh, I totally know what you mean about the Heroes thing! I was so annoyed about the lack of episodes. I thought it was gonna get a little more interesting…

Well well, I don’t watch any of those shows goodness me but I can only imagine how you must be feeling, being deprived 3 times of such a wonderful enjoyment. ESPECIALLY with how slack it is that Heroes has less than half the usual amount of episodes. I really feel sympathetic for you.

Seems like you and TV Shows are best friends, hehe. I’m starting to dislike tv, though. But, I *adore* Grey’s Anatomy! You, at least, are up-to-date with the episodes, but me… since I live in the Caribbean, seasons are always behind. And I can’t watch it from ABC.com because those full episodes are only available for US residents. Sucks, believe me. So let’s just say you are lucky. Be happy :)
