New Layouts and Projects

Over the past few weeks it has come to my attention that it is just not myself who keeps finding themselves whilst still swamped in either school work or occupational work have had ideas for new projects, layouts. I personally cannot stop making notes whilst at school or work about new plugins that I could write, new layouts for my portfolio, other ideas for visitor content! I must stop, seeing as I am finding it hard enough as it is trying to finish cssbake for the hopeful launch on March 1st!

This being said I also have a new layout up for you all to admire. The previous layout lasted a lot longer than I had anticipated and it got some good feedback from both my frequent viewers and reviewers. This is combining aspects that I loved about the previous layout and going back to before Web 2.0. I still have the two-toned headings, but other than that you cannot see any fluid div layers, gradients, drop shadows. I love it!

The layout has been testing in Safari and Firefox on Mac OS X Leopard. If you find any problems or have any suggestions, please do contact me or leave a comment! :D

But you know what I think would make this look even cooler? If the navigation tabs kind of “moved” when you hovered over them, if you get what I’m saying…

I love this new layout Ben, especially the colour scheme - I like the red and the green! For the record, the layout looks fine in OSX Tiger using Safari. :P

I know exactly what you mean! There’s so many things I should be doing but I’d rather be coming up with layouts for my blog. I’m doing a bloody design course - why can’t I focus my attentions on designs that will benefit my current projects?! Argh!
