My name is Benjamin. I come from the UK (although I was born in New Zealand) and I have been described as having a ginger personality. Whatever that means. I assume they're referring to my hair and my Ronald Weasley nature. Aside from that, I'm the only male blogger worth knowing.

You can thank Amber for that lovely introduction, but you deserve much more than just a small paragraph showing my nutty nature, therefore if you do wish to find out more, please visit the
about page.

Signed off

Thought it was week ago, I have officially signed off and left my sixth form college and am ready to embark on the rest of my life. All exams are finished and all 12 month overdue library books handed in! The only problem is that it has not quite hit me yet that I have left and will probably never see a lot of the people in my year ever again. I still feel that I will be going back in a few weeks.

However, it was a very different story when I left my primary school. After our final assembly; in which we performed songs, dances and the like; I broke down into hysterical tears and therefore other people breaking down in the same way when they say me. Instead of a group of 11 year olds excited about the prospect of a new school and friends, it was more like some kids from reception denied their play time!

University will start for mw on September 1st, and whilst I am thrilled to be meeting new people, being in a new place after 7 years, but at the same time scared that my abilities will not be as good as the others and therefore affect my confidence and the outcomes of my work. I am going to an art university (University of Creative Arts at Maidstone, Kent) to study Graphic Media, and having never done Art since Year 9, this might be a new challenge, surrounded by talented artists… In the mean time I will just be busying myself with work at Tescos and multiple website projects for clients.

Congrats on finishing your sixth form college time, and cheers to a bright future! It’s always hard to leave schools behind after you’re done, and it’s okay if you shed a tear or two(hundred) :)
Art university sounds exciting. I wish you all the best!

I’ve been there, and I’ve done that.

I’m not going to say it’s not scary, but trust me. After the first couple days, you’ll get used to the changes. And, you’ll love them too.
