Solipsus

This morning was great, I wasn’t due into college until 12:30 and thought it would be nice to have a lay-in. Having woken up at 10:30, I woke up to the mail, and it was like christmas, just not so much!

I was surprised to see a parcel from Bubs, full of cards for Christmas, Halloween and Valentines Day! I feel so bad that I have not sent her anything for these, so I will be making a quick trip into town tomorrow. ;)
I also have a lot of Hello Kitty and frog stickers! These will come in use when writing more letters to her, and decorating my school record book which looks a bit bland at the moment.
The little green frog is so sweet! It flashes when you press the buttons on the bottom! Hehe. The heart shaped stick-a-notes pad is so cute as well. I am so scared to open it that I will ruin it. I am so thankful. :D

After opening CSSbake the other day (I really should have blogged about it - GO VISIT ITS LIKE OMG AMAZING), a member at Snark mentioned a design book called ‘Graphic Design Cookbook’ which has pages of different design elements which can be used for all sorts of media. As you can see by the yellow pieces of paper in the book, I am already pulling ideas together for a new layout for my portfolio! It really was a good recommendation, so I recommend it to you too. It was a great morning overall :)
